Policies

  • We require a 50% deposit and signed contract to reserve an order
  • ​Please reserve a tent requiring staking at least 72 hours prior to installation because Miss Utility of Virginia states that the date and time that you are legally allowed to begin your excavation will be 48 hours beginning at 7 AM on the next working day after VA811 processes your ticket.​

Pole Tent Versus Frame Tent

  • We recommend pole tents for installations on grass because:
    • Pole tents look nicer
    • Pole tents are more cost effective

  • We recommend frame tents for installations on hardtop surfaces such as pavement, patios, etc.
    • Frame tents can be weighted with water barrels
    • Frame tents do not have center poles
